Wednesday on "The Talk," Mark Wahlberg discusses giving rapper Post Malone his first acting job in their upcoming film "Wonderland."
"He didn't audition. Our director, Peter Berg had never met him. So, I just said I wanted him in this part, which is a pretty big role in the film. And, Post showed up and Pete was like a little bit nervous because he was drinking Bud Light and it was pretty early in the morning, but you know, he's a rap star...he's a rockstar. But all of a sudden he was like okay, 'Let's rehearse the scene' and then Post wouldn't do it for real. He was just kind of like mumbling through his words," says Wahlberg. "But when he came on set, it was like magic. The scene is brilliant and we're now coming back, he's got like three or four other scenes. We basically combined what were two roles into one role, just because he got so much talent."
