Oscar-winner Lupita Nyong'o was live in Times Square today to discuss her new movie role in Disney's QUEEN OF KATWE, as well as her recent trip to the National Museum of African American History and Culture and her Vogue magazine cover story. Watch her GMA appearance below!

QUEEN OF KATWE is based on the vibrant true story of a young girl from the streets of Uganda whose world rapidly changes when she is introduced to the game of chess.

The film stars David Oyelowo, Oscar winner Lupita Nyong'o and newcomer Madina Nalwanga and is directed by Mira Nair. It opened in U.S. theaters on September 23, 2016.
