On Sunday, the Alliance Theatre wrapped up the world premiere of the musical Tuck Everlasting. The show, which is aiming for Broadway next, is based on the beloved best-selling novel by Natalie Babbitt. This week, Jeremy Jordan (Newsies, Bonnie and Clyde) stepped into the studio to perform 'The Wheel', a song from the new musical. Check it out below!
TUCK EVERLASTING features a book by Tony Award nominee Claudia Shear (Dirty Blonde), music by Chris Miller (The Burnt Part Boys), lyrics by Nathan Tysen (The Burnt Part Boys), and direction and choreography by Tony Award winner Casey Nicholaw (The Book of Mormon, Aladdin, The Drowsy Chaperone, Spamalot). Tuck Everlasting is a story about everlasting love, never-ending life, and discovering what it means to truly feel alive.
Tony nominee Jeremy Jordan can currently be seen on the big screen opposite Anna Kendrick in THE LAST FIVE YEARS. The actor starred on Broadway in Newsies (Tony and Drama Desk nominations) and Bonnie and Clyde (Theatre World Award win). His credits also include Rock of Ages and the 2009 revival of West Side Story. Earlier this year he starred in Finding Neverland at ART in Boston under the direction of Tony-winner Diane Paulus. His screen credits include a recurring role on NBC's Smash.
