On last night's episode of NBC's new comedy THE NEW NORMAL titled 'THE BIG O.M.G' Broadway's favorite funny lady Jackie Hoffman guest starred as 'Francis', David (Justin Bartha's) mother. In the episode, David is planning a family dinner to tell his mother about the baby, while Bryan (Andrew Rannells) comisserates with Goldie (Georgia King) about mother-in-law woes. Check out two clips from last night's hilarious episode below!

Also in the episode, Jane (Ellen Barkin) is learning that even at her age she still has it, but when she experiences an unusual sensation during an encounter with a younger man she seeks out David’s medical advice. Meanwhile, worried that her dad may win the custody battle Shania (Bebe Wood) is crossing off her California bucket list.

In 2002, Jackie Hoffman played multiple roles in the Broadway musical Hairspray, for which she won the 2003 Theatre World Award. She co-starred as Calliope in the rock musical Xanadu on Broadway, from July 2007 to September 2008. She recently ended a two-year run in the Broadway musical The Addams Family, in which she originated the role of Grandma.
