Idina Menzel appeared on today's 'On Air with Ryan Seacrest' this week and revealed that she would love to colloborate with U2 lead singer Bono. Listen to the appearance below!
"Everybody always asks me if I could ever do a duet with anyone who would it be, and I've been saying Bono for the last 20 years of my life," shares the Broadway veteran. "Maybe I'll have the balls to go up to him and shake his hand and sing him something."
Menzel will perform the mega-hit "Let It Go" from Disney's Frozen at this year's 86th Annual Academy Awards, airing live this Sunday March 2nd on ABC. The song struck a chord with movie audiences across the globe and is up for an Oscar in the category of Best Original Song.
Menzel won a Tony Award for her performance as Elphaba in the original Broadway production of "Wicked." She received a Tony nomination for her Broadway debut in "Rent" and earned a Drama Desk nomination for her performance in Manhattan Theater Club's off-Broadway musical "The Wild Party."In March, Menzel will star in "If/Then," a new Broadway musical about a woman moving back to New York City for a fresh start. In addition to "Frozen," in which she voices the character of Elsa, Menzel's film roles include "Enchanted," "Ask the Dust" and "Rent."
