Netflix recently announced that they will revive the beloved drama as four 90-minute 'mini movies', written and directed by series creator Amy Sherman-Palladino and executive producer Daniel Palladino. Series stars Lauren Graham (Broadway's GUYS AND DOLLS), Alexis Bledel, Kelly Bishop (Broadway's ANYTHING GOES) and Scott Patterson will reprise their roles. Also returning are Sean Gunn and Keiko Agena. Broadway's Sutton Foster will make an appearance.
GILMORE GIRLS was created by Amy Sherman-Palladino, and starred Lauren Grahamand Alexis Bledel. On October 5, 2000, the series debuted on the WB and remained a tent-pole to the network until it was canceled in its seventh season, ending on May 15, 2007 on the CW.The show followed single mother Lorelai Gilmore (Graham) and her daughter, also named Lorelai but who prefers to be called Rory (Bledel), living in the fictional town of Stars Hollow, Connecticut. The town is filled with colorful characters and is located approximately 30 minutes from Hartford, Connecticut.Videos
