Brooklyn DA focuses on an eclectic group of men and women in the Kings County District Attorney's Office and their lives inside and outside of the courtroom. From a career prosecutor who has a passion for food to a young prosecutor learning her way around a case, viewers will see the wins, the losses and a wide range of human experiences. Brooklyn DA is a smart, candid look at the people who handle some of the country's toughest cases.
The series premiere will take viewers inside a high-tech undercover sting involving a famous art collection. The investigation is headed by Lawrence Oh, Assistant District Attorney, Bureau Chief, Rackets Division, a 19-year veteran of the office, whose obsession for his cases is only equaled by his obsession for eating. Meanwhile, young Assistant District Attorney Kathleen Collins pursues a heart-wrenching case against an alleged pimp busted for human trafficking, only to find the case take an unexpected turn no one could have anticipated. Finally, veteran prosecutor Ken Taub, Deputy District Attorney, Chief, Homicide Bureau, seeks justice for the four young daughters of a New York City police officer killed in the line of duty.
Brooklyn DA was created by Patti Aronofsky, who is also the senior supervising producer. Ruth Chenetz, Liza Finley, Lisa Freed, Susan Mallie, Alec Sirken, Taigi Smith, Kim Kennedy, Chris O'Connell and Elena DiFiore are the producers. Richard Barber, Doreen Schechter, Michael Vele are the producer-editors. Mead Stone is the senior creative producer. Anthony Batson is the senior broadcast producer. Susan Zirinsky is the senior executive producer.
