James Franco's SAL chronicles the final hours of the life of actor Sal Mineo, one-time teen idol and star of the blockbuster films Rebel Without a Cause and Exodus. Check out the first official trailer below!

James Franco directs the biopic which he co-wrote with Stacy Miller, Vince Jolivette and Van Lauren. The film stars Franco, Jim Parrack, and Val Lauren.

SAL premiered last month at the Venice Film Festival.
