VIDEO: First Look - Emma Stone, Joaquin Phoenix Star in Woody Allen's IRRATIONAL MAN

PEOPLE and Entertainment Weekly have shared an exclusive first look at Academy Award-nominated actress Emma Stone (Broadway's CABARET) and co-star Joaquin Phoenix in a trailer for the new comedy drama IRRATIONAL MAN.

Woody Allen pens and directs the pic which centers on "a college student (Stone) who develops feelings for her emotionally disturbed philosophy professor Abe Lucas (Phoenix).

Explains Stone of her character, "There was no question there was something lighter about Abe ... my thoughts were very mixed up and troubled."

Also starring Jamie Blackley, IRRATIONAL MAN is set to hit theaters on July 17.
