VIDEO: First Look - Chloe Moretz in New Trailer for CARRIE

Julianne Moore will star as Margaret White and Chloe Moretz as Carrie in the MGM remake of CARRIE, directed by Kimberly Pierce. The film will hit theaters on October 18, 2013. Below, check out the just-released trailer from the upcoming horror flick!

The story is based on the Stephen King novel of the same name about a teenage girl dealing with everyday school life in the face of her overbearing, religious mother and burgeoning understanding of her telekinetic powers. The original film was directed by Brian DePalma and was recently translated for the Broadway stage.

Stage and film star, Moore starred on Broadway in The Vertical Hour in 2006 and was featured in The Hours, among many other acclaimed films and television series.
