NBC's TODAY has shared the first trailer for MY BIG FAT GREEK WEDDING 2, the sequel to 2002's hit romantic comedy hitting theaters on March 25, 2016. Check it out below!
NANNY McPHEE helmer Kirk Jones will direct the comedy, with Nia Vardalos reprising her role and penning the script. The movie will follow "the revelation of a family secret and an even bigger wedding brings the Portokalos family together again." Lainie Kazan, Michael Constantine, Andrea Martin, Ian Gomez, Alex Wolff, Elena Kampouris,John Stamos, Rita Wilson and Joey Fatone round out the cast.Rita Wilson and her husband Tom Hanks will once again produce the project along with Gary Goetzman. Executive producers are Paul Brooks, Scott Niemeyer, Steven Shareshian and Vardalos.
The original film, which also featured John Corbett and Andrea Martin, earned a whopping $368 million in worldwide grosses. Vardalos' script received an Oscar nomination.
