Speaking on her preparation for the TV spots, the funnylady jokes, "I'm basically the Daniel Day Lewis of commercials.I'm going to be playing a bunch of different characters and you know I disappear when I play my characters."
The Golden Globe host says that doing the ads for the retail chain harkens back to the humble beginnings of her youth. "I grew up very middle class," she says. "My parents were both Elementary school teachers and we always were looking for good deals and I still have that feeling."
Speaking on what's on tap during the coming year, Poehler shares, "This year it's about urgency, fashion, people, food, life, kids, love, the sun, the moon, it's a big year."
