World-renowned fashion designer Oscar de la Renta said scandal-scarred designer John Galliano deserved a second chance, in an interview which was broadcast in the interview, which was broadcast today, July 26, 2013, on CBS This Morning (7:00-9:00 AM) on the CBS Television Network. "He's a very talented man," de la Renta told co-hosts Charlie Rose and Norah O'Donnell. "John has had a lot of issues - health issues, abuse - but I like John. He's a great guy and I was happy that I gave him that second chance and I hope that he will survive all of this, because he is an extremely talented man."

The designer, in a web extra at CBSNews.com, also discussed his relationship with Huma Abedin, the wife of New York City mayoral candidate Anthony Weiner, who is now caught up in a "sexting" scandal.
