There's a lot of buzz that Ellen might be a candidate to take over for David Letterman when the long-time host retires next year. She might be hosting a late-night show sooner than you think!
On today's show, the Oscars host explained to her audience, "You can't know if you're good at something until you try it." The funny lady then goes on to do her best Letterman-type monologue, opening with "Thank you, ladies and gentlemen. I haven't had that much trouble coming out since 1997. Please have a seat. Thank you."
