Tackling controversial issues from affairs to abortion, LOGO's beloved indie dark comedy web series "EastSiders" aired its first season finale yesterday, June 4th. Written and directed by award winning playwright Kit Williamson, "EastSiders" explores the aftermath of infidelity on a gay couple in Silverlake, CA. Click below to watch the episode!

When 'Cal' (Kit Williamson) finds out 'Thom' (Van Hansis) has been cheating on him with 'Jeremy' (Matthew McKelligon), their relationship is turned upside down. Will the lies tear them apart or are they just stubborn enough to stay together forever? Cal's best friend Kathy (Constance Wu) has her own problems, including an unplanned pregnancy, with her boyfriend Ian (John Halbach). Drunken outbursts and double standards abound in this dark comedy about the sad and funny messes we make out of our lives. Episode 9 takes place on the last day of Thom and Cal's lease. It's moving day, and nothing will ever be the same...

The first two episodes of "EastSiders" began on Youtube in December, and the production successfully funded a full first season via a crowd funding campaign on Kickstarter. Then the series was acquired by Viacom's LogoTV where the rest of the first season has been presented.

"EastSiders" has been featured by USA Today, Entertainment Weekly, The Huffington Post, The Advocate, Out Magazine, Next Magazine, Towleroad, Queerty, The Backlot, AfterEllen, NewNowNext, and many more outlets. The universal story themes of "EastSiders" have been hailed as transcendent to gay and straight audiences alike, with acting performances that will leave you beyond impressed.

The writer/director/star of the series, Kit Williamson, began his career on Broadway, acting in the Tony-Nominated revival of "Talk Radio." In addition to being the newest cast member of AMC's "Mad Men" (copywriter 'Ed Gifford'), he recently appeared in the indie film "Best Friends Forever." As a playwright, he was awarded the Playwrights First Award by The National Arts Club.

"The series finale is the culmination of so much hard work from so many talented people and I couldn't be prouder of it. The last six months have been a whirlwind. I can't say whether this is the end of the series or not, but I hope the finale is satisfying to everyone that has been watching the show since the beginning." - Kit Williamson

The starry cast of this season also included Van Hansis (three time Daytime Emmy nominee), Constance Wu (Browsers), Stephen Guarino (Happy Endings), Sean Maher (Firefly, The Playboy Club), Brea Grant (Heroes, Dexter), David Blue (Ugly Betty, Stargate Universe), and Traci Lords (CryBaby, Devil May Call).

"EastSiders: The Series" aired its season finale (Episode 9) on Tuesday, June 4th at 3:00PM ET on www.logotv.com. Follow the show on twitter at @EastSidersTV and "Like" on Facebook at handle (EastSidersTheSeries).
