FIRST WE TAKE BROOKLYN, starring Danny A. Abeckaser, AnnaLynne McCord, Harvey Keitel, Charlotte McKinney, Edoardo Ballerini and Kathrine Narducci, brings grit and drama to the big screen in a feature film showcasing the dark life faced by the lead character upon return to his hometown of Brooklyn, following an intense Israeli prison stint. Directed by Abeckaser as his directorial debut, and co-written by Abeckaser with actor and producer Jon Carlo, Abeckaser was compelled and determined to direct and star in the crime drama himself, to ensure the story was portrayed exactly how he envisioned it.
FIRST WE TAKE BROOKLYN has been a three-year long passion project for Abeckaser, who used his integral and applaudable hustle to get the film written, funded and made, now finally set for release in February of 2018. Being Israeli born and Brooklyn raised, FIRST WE TAKE BROOKLYN utilizes Abeckaser's knowledge of both geographic cultures to create a captivating film guaranteed to keep the attention of the viewer and get them buzzing. The movie was shot entirely on location in Brooklyn, New York, to ensure all elements were as authentic as possible, which also allowed the actors to truly immerse themselves into the story.

Danny is a force, and has been paving his own path in the film industry with the founding of his 2B Films production studio, his first starring role in the 2016 itunes comedy hit "A Standup Guy," parts in "The Iceman," "Wolf of Wall Street," and "Holy Rollers" (his first movie, of which he also earned his first producing credit), and upcoming roles in the Scorsese film "The Irishman" and Gavi Rapp's "The Mob Priest," among others. Danny's name secured the attention of Hollywood via his 2015 film "Club Life," now an international cult favorite, which Abeckaser co-starred in, created, co-wrote and produced based on his success as a New York nightclub promoter and nightlife power player, which set in motion Danny's full time transition into the acting, producing and directing world. His production studio has already greenlit seven film projects since its founding in 2013, including the documentaries "Davi's Way" (starring Robert Davi) and "The Last Shaman."
