Vanity Fair has released a new short documentary titled CALL ME CAITLYN, chronicling the Caitlyn Jenner's journey on her transition to a woman and revealing herself for the first time to the world. Jenner's story is also being documented in the new docu-series I Am Cait, which debuted Sunday night on E!
The video features never-before-seen footage from Vanity Fair's Malibu photo shoot with Jenner with famed photographer Annie Leibovitz. Jenner reflects: "You look at some of the people, the [transgender] pioneers who tried to get the message out. They made it easier for me. I hope, with my honesty, I can make it easier for someone else down the line."
Later, Jenner shares how difficult it was during the three months leading up to her reveal. "I've basically been inside this house for three months. I haven't really left. It's difficult because I can't go out and be seen by the paparazzi. It was just hell. It was really, really tough on me."
