U2 singer-songwriter and humanitarian Bono said he's not pushing an idea of charity at all, but rather righting injustices when it comes to his decades-long mission to eradicate poverty and other issues worldwide in an interview with Charlie Rose that was broadcast today, May 16, 2013, on CBS THIS MORNING (7:00-9:00 AM) on the CBS Television Network. "And I think I'm a good salesman of ideas of songs, melodies, if I believe in them," he told Rose of his music and humanitarian efforts. "You know, people getting out on the streets, getting organized, and fighting to eliminate extreme poverty is working. And that's the mission. Because I believe if people understand it and see the successes of it - then they'll give more of it."
