Mel B, one of the judges of the NBC talent competition "America's Got Talent" appeared on this morning's TODAY to praise one of this season's contestants, a puppet named 'Ira' who happens to be smitten with the former Spice Girl.
The puppet in question, along with his mother Miriam Fennelbloom, are creations of talented actors from the Broadway production of Avenue Q, Howie Michael Smith(Princeton/Rod) and Christian Anderson(Nicky/Trekkie Monster.) The duo recently made their second appearance on America's Got Talent where they were voted to move on to the next round of competition - the live Radio City performances!
Said Mel B of Ira, "He's very endearing, he's got a really sweet singing voice," adding "Everybody loves a good puppet, don't they?"
