Last night was the Cut round on NBC's "World of Dance" and below are the dance acts that advanced past the round!

NBC's hit dance competition series "World of Dance" is led by a judging team of extraordinary dance superstars - Jennifer Lopez (who also serves as an executive producer), Derek Hough, NE-YO and host Scott Evans.

The series gives dancers the platform to showcase their talents and the opportunity to receive a life-altering grand prize of $1 million. WORLD OF DANCE brings the world's elite dancers together to compete in epic battles of artistry, precision and athleticism. Solo dancers will compete against duos and crews in an unlimited range of dance, including hip-hop, popping, locking, tap, ballet, break dancing, ballroom, stomping and more.


Julian & Charlize

Division: Junior Team

Hometown: Manalapan, NJ & Los Angeles, CA

Members: 2

Ages: 17

Style: Hip-Hop

Despite their young age, both Julian & Charlize are already widely respected figures within the International dance scene and have accrued a huge social media following, over 800K on Instagram. Still high school students, both Julian & Charlize have been honored to teach dance all over the world. Charlize has even danced at the SUPER BOWL Halftime show with Missy Elliott and Julian performed on SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE with Pharrell.

Kayla Mak

Division: Junior Team

Hometown: Rye Brook, NY

Members: 1

Ages: 15

Style: Contemporary Ballet

Trained in both classical and contemporary styles, Kayla has racked up an impressive amount of accolades in the competition world, including being a finalist at the Youth America Grand Prix, the largest and most prestigious ballet competition. She also starred as Clara in the Radio City Christmas Spectacular.

Ellie & Ava

Division: Junior Team

Hometown: Woodbury, MN

Members: 2

Ages: 13-15

Style: Contemporary

These sisters come from a dance family that goes back generations and are part of the famous Larkin Dance Studio, where they trained alongside WORLD OF DANCE Season 1 and 2 alum, Eva Igo. Competing together for only a year, the duo has quickly risen to the top and recently placed first overall at the 2018 Hall of Fame Dance National Competition.

The Kings

Division: Upper Team

Hometown: Mumbai, India

Members: 14

Ages: 17-27

Style: Bolly-Hop

The Kings, who are known in the dance community for their high-flying tricks and never before seen stunts, may be the most famous group of dancers you have never heard of...yet. They are some of the most sought after choreographers in Bollywood and they have won almost every competition India has to offer, including "India's Got Talent." Additionally, they were the first team from India to achieve bronze medal at 2015 World Hip-Hop Dance Championship. The 2015 Bollywood movie "ABCD: Any Body Can Dance 2" depicted their real-life story of trial and triumph.

Unity LA

Division: Upper Team

Hometown: Los Angeles, CA

Members: 10

Ages: 18-27

Style: Contemporary

Since its establishment in 1994, Unity LA has developed a tremendous reputation for giving performances that raise audiences to their feet. The group is led by their Emmy Award-winning choreographer, Tessandra Chavez, as well as Zack and Ashley, who are returning from Season 2 of World of Dance. Unity LA is at the top of their game and their biggest goal is to make it to the World Final so they can tour as a company, with hopes of selling out theaters and doing what they love to do...together.

The Heima

Division: Upper Team

Hometown: Seoul, South Korea

Members: 10

Ages: 21-28

Style: Breaking Fusion

This crew has taken the world of breaking by storm, with their Fusion of breaking, contemporary, and their own unique style. The Heima has competed and won several international competitions, and most recently they were crowned champions of "Battle is Over." They also placed third at both the BBIC All Style Performance and the Young Arts Silkroad For Performing. The Heima is known for their theatrical performances that often include masks to show their Korean heritage. The dance crew is ready for WORLD OF DANCE and is excited to show the judges something different.
