Recently, Bushmills Irish Whiskey brought Aaron Paul and a group of his closest friends to his hometown of Boise, Idaho to screen one of the last episodes of Breaking Bad" for hundreds of fans. Check out a recap of hte trip below!
Bushmills rented The Egyptian Theater: a local theater where Aaron would watch movies before his move to California, and cameras followed Aaron as he and his friends from the Bushmills "Since Way Back" program, Philip Waller, David Tom, Chris Paul, and Taylor Russell, discuss his role on this
Epic show, their friendship, and taking this trip back to where he grew up.
"I definitely feel that I still have the Idaho guy in me. That's why I try and give back when I can," said Paul. "It's just all about staying grounded, knowing where you came from, and appreciating what has happened."
This video comes on the heels of an official announcement in Boise, as last night October 1 was officially pronounced "Aaron Paul Sturtevant" day by their Governor, Butch Otter.
Bushmills' "Since Way Back" was developed to tell the stories of close friendships and experiences that are now shaping pop culture. Aaron joins his closest friends for this program, as they share personal stories and defining influences that have led Paul through his journey toward success.
