Bryan Cranston stopped by last night's Late Show with David Letterman and spoke about maintaining his voice throughout the grueling eight shows a week schedule of his new Broadway play All the Way, in which he portrays President Lyndon B. Johnson.

"It's a three-hour play," he explained, "so I talked to a wonderful actor, Audra McDonald, she did Porgy and Bess, and she told me that her Ear, Nose and Throat said, 'shut down on Mondays, don't say anything on Mondays.' So I started Silent Mondays!"
