VH1 showed strong double-digit growth in third quarter ratings in its target 18-49 adult demo compared to the prior quarter. The pop culture network's primetime rating average surged ahead +34%, averaging a .4 in the demo and 672,000 total viewers (P2+) overall. The network's total day ratings average also increased, up +21% when compared to the averages for second quarter of 2015.

The network also showed growth compared to third quarter of last year, posting a +6% increase in total day ratings and +2% increase in primetime vs. year-ago levels. VH1 is one of only six Top 25 cable networks that are up in total day ratings year-over-year. Out of 112 rated TV networks, VH1 was one of only 30 to show year-over-year growth in total day ratings among adults 18-49.

September's strong performance helped fuel that year-over-year growth. VH1 posted +13% increases in both primetime and total day ratings this past September compared to September 2014.

For the quarter, VH1 was the #1 cable network on Monday nights among Women 18-49 and #3 among adults 18-49. That ranking jumps to #1 among networks offering non-sports programming on that night. The "Love & Hip Hop" franchise fuels that powerhouse night:

The season 4 finale of VH1's "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" on Monday, August 17th was the #1 telecast on all of television for the day among women 18-49 and women 18-34. The episode was also the #1 cable telecast among adults 18-49, delivering a 2.3 rating in that demo and over 3.3 million total viewers. When combined with the evening's encore airings at 10 PM and 12 Midnight, 5.3 million total viewers tuned in to the season 4 finale of "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" throughout Monday night.

"Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood" debuted on Labor Day, September 7 as the #1 non-sports telecast among adults 18-49 and women 18-49 for the day as well as the #1 social show on all of TV.

VH1 also ranks as the #2 cable network on Sunday nights for the quarter among women 18-49 and as a top-10 cable net with Adults 18-49 (#9). The return of "Basketball Wives LA" dominates the evening, driving VH1 to a +123% increase in Sunday night primetime and a +200% increase among Women 18-34.
