VH1's LOVE & HIP HOP: ATLANTA & HIT THE FLOOR Go Out Strong

Last night's season finales of VH1's hit series "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" and original scripted series "Hit The Floor" proved that summer ratings soar as the drama unfolds.

Monday night's 8:00 PM* second season finale of "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" scored a season high 2.8 in the key P18-49 demo and brought in 4.1 million total viewers. When combined with the 10PM* encore episode, over 6.2 million total viewers tuned in to see how it all went down in the ATL. "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" is the #1 cable Reality Show of the summer among Adults and Women 18-49.

According to SocialGuide "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" was the most social show on all of TV last night and was the #2 most tweeted show on all of TV the week of July 22nd.

Joseline, Stevie J., Mimi, Lil Scrappy, Erica, K. Michelle, Rasheeda, Kirk, Karlie Redd, Momma Dee, Ariane, Benzino, Shay, DJ BabyDrew and Traci Steele will return to rant, rave and reminisce together as all of the on-and-off camera drama gets dished out on VH1's "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta's" two-part reunion premiering on August 5 and August 12 at 8PM*.

The Monday night season finale of VH1's new scripted series "Hit the Floor," averaged a series high 1.7 in the Adult 18-49, a 2.5 in the Women 18-49 demo and a 3.4 in the Women 18-34 demo. "Hit The Floor" continues to be the #1 new scripted series of the summer on cable among Adults 18-49. During the week of July 22nd the series was #1 among Adults 18-49 and #1 with W18-49 among basic cable dramas.

The series finale episode at 9:00PM* drew in 2.6 million total viewers to VH1. When combined with the 11:00PM* encore episode, over 3.9 million total viewers tuned in to see how it would end for the Devil Girls this season.

"Hit The Floor" was the #4 most show social show in all of TV last night and it was the #8 most tweeted show in all of TV during the week of July 22nd according to SocialGuide.

"Hit The Floor" explores the sexy world of professional basketball and the dancers who make the fans (and players) go wild. The Los Angeles Devils are the number one team in the league. When the arena lights Go On all of Hollywood comes out to support the million dollar players. But in this city these men share the fame, adrenalin, money, sex and power with their dancers, the Devil Girls. The second season of "Hit the Floor" will air in 2014.

The cast includes: Dean Cain, Kimberly Elise, Charlotte Ross, Taylour Paige, Logan Browning, Valery Ortiz, Katherine Bailess, Jonathan McDaniel, McKinley Freeman, Rob Riley and Don Stark.

"Love & Hip Hop Atlanta" is executive produced by Mona Scott-Young for Monami Entertainment and Toby Barraud and Stefan Springman for NFGTV. Shelly Tatro, Brad Abramson and Danielle Gelfand are executive producers for VH1.

"Hit the Floor" was created by James LaRosa who also serves as Executive Producer of the series along with Executive Producer Maggie Malina. Bryan Johnson and The Film Syndicate are also executive producing. VH1 executive Jill Holmes is an Executive Producer on the project. The pilot episode was written by James LaRosa and directed by Sanaa Hamri.
