VH1 shines a light on the long list of hilarious yet unwitting dating faux pas made all-too-often by men in the upcoming VH1 special, "Undateable: The Top 100 Things Guys Do That Guarantee They Won't Be Dating or Having Sex," premiering over 5 consecutive nights from May 10-14 at 10pm*. "Undateable" exposes the deal breakers that send women running for the hills and leaving so many men wondering why they can't get a date.

"Undateable" reveals the things men should never do, say or wear if they ever plan on snagging their dream girl. Celebrity guests comment and countdown the top 100 things that will keep men in single purgatory. Celebrity guests include Julia Allison, Simon Doonan, Fantasia, Spike Feresten, Bethenny Frankel, Karina Smirnoff, the "Jersey Shore" cast, "Pepa" Denton. For that friend who knows "Star Wars" trivia a bit too well or the cousin who "rocks" the leather pants or that guy who considers himself the master of the mullet, "Undateable" will show that women are really snickering at your odd sense of "expertise," your lack of fashion know-how and your pride in the worst haircut known to humanity.

"Undateable" is based on the book "Undateable: 311 Things Guys Do That Guarantee They Won't be Dating or Having Sex" written by Ellen Rakieten and Anne Coyle, published by Villard Books (an imprint of Random House) on March 16, 2010. Ellen Rakieten is currently President of Ellen Rakieten Entertainment. For over 23 years she was a key force in creating, developing, writing and producing "The Oprah Winfrey Show." Rakieten recently partnered with Jerry Seinfeld to create "The Marriage Ref," a comedy/panel show. Anne Coyle has worked as an award-winning advertising copywriter. Coyle's work has appeared regularly in many publications, including "O at Home," "Metropolitan Home" and "Elle Decor."

"Undateable" is executive produced by Shelly Tatro, Karla Hidalgo and Jeff Olde for VH1. Ellen Rakieten is executive producer for Ellen Rakieten Entertainment.
