Variety writes that Wes Bentley has signed on for AMERICAN HORROR STORY: FREAK SHOW as 'Eddie', "a tormentor from Kathy Bates' character's past who is seeking revenge". He will appear in the two-part Halloween episode.

Set in Jupiter, Florida, in 1950, FREAK SHOW will feature AHS alum Jessica Lange portraying a German ex-pat who is managing one of the last freak shows in the U.S. Kathy Bates, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Angela Bassett, and Frances Conroy will all appear as performers rescued by Lange's character.
Michael Chiklis is another new addition to the cast as Bates' character's ex-husband, who is married to Bassett's character. Denis O'Hare will also be returning for the new season.
Freak Show is set to air this October on FX.
Among Bentley's upcoming big screen projects are Welcome to Me, Unconscious, Knight of Cups, Final Girl, Interstellar and Broken Vows. He recently appeared in 3 Nights in the Desert, Cesar Chavez, Things People Do, The Better Angels, Pioneer, Lovelace, and as the ill-fated 'Seneca Crane' in the first Hunger Games film. He was also lauded for his performance in American Beauty in 1999. The actor starred off-Broadway in Venus in Fur in 2010.
