Universal Pictures Reveals Official Title of New FAST AND FURIOUS Film

Yet again, Universal Pictures is keeping the title for the next FAST AND FURIOUS film simple.

The film company announced today that the movie previously known as FAST & FURIOUS 7 has now been shortened to simply, FURIOUS 7. The previous films in this franchise each had varying styles to their titles, but had one thing in common: the word "fast."

The news of this decision came via Universal's Facebook page, on which they also unveiled the movie's official poster.

From director James Wan, FURIOUS 7 stars Vin Diesel, the late Paul Walker, Jason Statham, Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster and Tyrese Gibson. It is set for an April 3, 2015 release.
