usa network announced today a 16-episode sixth season renewal of the provocative and sophisticated hit original drama SUITS from Universal Cable Productions. Currently airing Wednesdays at 9/8c on USA, the fifth season of SUITS, which premiered last week, opened to 3.4MM total viewers P2+, 1.5MM P25-54 and 1.3MM P18-49.

SUITS centers on a fast-paced Manhattan corporate law firm led by legendary lawyer Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht ). In the next episode, "Compensation," airing tonight at 9/8c, Harvey searches for a replacement for Donna (Sarah Rafferty), while his latest case forces him to bring out some star power. Mike (SAG Award Nominee, Patrick J. Adams) takes a case as a favor, which he must justify to Jessica (Gina Torres) - while Rachel's (Meghan Markle) father, Robert Zane (guest star Wendell Pierce), offers some unsolicited advice about Rachel's engagement to Mike. And Louis (Rick Hoffman) is embroiled in surprising money matters, as Jack Soloff (guest star John Pyper Ferguson) tries to involve him in his scheme to undermine Harvey.
The fifth season premiere is available on Video on Demand and fans can catch up on previous seasons via Amazon Prime. Also, subscribers of
