Tweedy to Perform on Tonight's COLBERT REPORT on Comedy Central

Tweedy, the studio duo and live band project of Wilco's Jeff Tweedy and his 18-year-old son Spencer, releases their debut album Sukierae tomorrow on dBpm Records. The double album, which features 20 new Jeff Tweedy-penned tunes, has already received worldwide critical acclaim. Sukierae earned 4-stars from Rolling Stone who calls Tweedy "... one of the most emotionally fluent American songwriters around" and has been lauded by Uncut as "an album of great depth and richness... 9/10." The album is available in stores and online tomorrow.

Tonight, on the eve of Sukierae's release, Jeff Tweedy makes his third appearance on Comedy Central's "The Colbert Report." The performance will include the full Tweedy band, plus special guests Jess Wolfe and Holly Laessig of Lucius. The show airs tonight at 11:30 p.m. ET/PT. Tweedy will perform "Low Key" on-air, while a second song "World Away" will be available for viewing exclusively at www.ColbertNation.com.

Tweedy is currently on a US tour and will perform tomorrow night at the Brooklyn Academy of Music. The live show will stream in its entirety beginning at 9 PM EST at BAM.org/TweedyLive. Tweedy also recently recorded sessions for NPR's Tiny Desk and a special live edition of Sound Opinions from Lincoln Hall in Chicago.
