The 2nd Annual True Romance Fest will return for a thrilling, two-day, outdoor screening and party at the world-famous Safari Inn in Burbank, Friday and Saturday, May 1 and 2, where parts of the cult classic True Romance (1993) were filmed. Bronson Pinchot will host this exclusive overnight gathering for die-hard fans.
**New Festival Additions!!** True Romance Fest is excited to announce that Donna Scott, wife of late director Tony Scott, will be attending the festival and will be taking part in a discussion about the film. Anthony David "Tony" Scott, director of the True Romance, was a British film director and producer who, after directing Top Gun in 1986, skyrocketed to the top of Hollywood's A-list for directors, and went on to direct many fan favorites such as Beverly Hills Cop II, Crimson Tide, Enemy of the State, and Spy Game.
The weekend will begin on Friday, May 1, when VIP Hotel guests can enjoy a day at the pool followed by a kick-off party with cast and crew, and a night of karaoke, True Romance style! Saturday, May 2, will feature a meet & greet and breakfast with actors Bronson Pinchot (Elliot), Paul Bates (Marty), and JUST ADDED... Paul Ben-Victor (Luca), Michael Beach (Wurlitzer), Susan Becker (costumedesigner), and Jeffrey Kimball (cinematographer). Festivities will culminate with an outdoor sunset screening of the cult movie classic.
Guests can enjoy a host of activities including live music, a pop-up art show, photo booth, as well as a display of original movie props. There will be an array of vendors on hand.
