Christian television's Trinity Broadcasting Network lost a dear friend with the passing of Efrem Zimbalist Jr., May 2nd, at the age of 95. Known widely for his starring role in the iconic television series The FBI, Mr. Zimbalist will be remembered by millions of TBN viewers for his many appearances on TBN's flagship ministry and talk show Praise the Lord, and for his participation in other TBN broadcasts over the years.

TBN Vice President Matthew Crouch noted that Mr. Zimbalist is still heard on TBN through the network's regular ID spots, and his rich and soothing voice continues to bless viewers daily through his recorded readings of Scripture during TBN station breaks.

"Millions of our viewers have been impacted by Efrem Zimbalist Jr.'s many gracious appearances on TBN over the past thirty years," said Mr. Crouch. "I know that my parents, TBN founders Paul and Jan Crouch, were deeply blessed by his friendship and encouragement. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Mr. Zimbalist's family, and our thanks to God for the countless lives he touched through his life and his words of faith."
