Despite previous speculation, Trey Parker and Matt Stone have revealed to The Hollywood Reporter that they currently have no plans to bring their Tony Award-winning musical to the big screen. He explains to The Hollywood Reporter: "We did a stage show and it worked out way better than we ever thought, and we'd like it to be that for a while, you know, without contaminating it with a movie."
