After more than 10 million viewers tuned in to Travel Channel's "Dive Into Summer," the fun, splashy, water-themed programming event that aired earlier this year, the network will build on the success by offering the ultimate escape from the cold with "Dive Into Winter." Airing on Sundays at 9 p.m. from January 1-29, the new shows will celebrate heart-pumping water thrills, gorgeous beach destinations and over-the-top water slides.
The "Top Secret" franchise will return with one-hour episodes that reveal the planet's most secluded, sexy and breathtaking water-themed locations in "Top Secret Swimming Holes." "Top Secret Beaches" and "Top Secret Waterfalls" will round out the programs. The network also will premiere six new episodes of the hit series "Xtreme Waterparks," taking viewers to the world's wettest, wildest and most exhilarating water rides.
"'Dive Into Summer' set the network on an exciting and successful course," said Courtney White, senior vice president, programming, Travel Channel. "This fresh block of water-inspired programming is a fantasy escape from the everyday that whets our appetites for fun, thrills and off-the-beaten-path adventures."
