On September 8, the spotlight will be on transgender activist, recording artist and memoirist Rizi Timane as the hit Amazon docu-series OUTrageous kicks off Season Two with an episode shot in Rizi's SoCal home as he shares his story. Rizi, whose memoir, "An Unspoken Compromise," recounts his journey from Nigeria, where he was born and raised female, to the U.S. where he made a complete transformation, offers the audience an intimate glimpse into the experiences and relationships that impacted his extraordinary passage from a fundamentalist childhood in AFRICA to a fully realized life Stateside. In that time, he has pursued both a recording career - his most recent single, the pro-inclusive anthem "Love is All We Need" has received well over a million views on Youtube - as well as a degree in clinical psychology which he puts to use counseling trans youth and advocating for transgender equality. "I loved being a part of Pony Gayle's OUTrageous docu-series which was created to tell stories like mine, I believe that in sharing our stories, we can change hearts and minds one person at a time." "It was a pleasure working with Rizi. He's such a lovely person that's not only doing amazing things for the trans community but humanity in general," commented OUTrageous creator and director Pony Gayle, whose docu-reality series tells real stories of people in the LGBTQ community and their allies. Season One featured fellow trans activist and theater performer D'Lo, whose innovative pieces have been showcased in numerous theaters, including The Flea Theater as part of the National Asian American Theater Festival.

OUTrageous Seasons One and Two can be streamed on Amazon Prime or outrageousseries.com.
