The original independent comedy short series "Namaste, Bitches" will premiere its first two episodes on Sunday, October 18th, 2015 at 10 pm ET/7 pm PT on www.namastebitchestheseries.com.

Also released today is the official trailer for the 6-episode premiere installment of the series executive produced by former yoga teacher Summer Chastant (Wanderlust Hollywood, Yoga Works, Pure Yoga, Kula Yoga Project, and more) and directed by CineFest®-winner Mary Gillen (L'Audition, Blue Star), that details the challenges a yoga teacher new to the Hollywood down-dog scene, 'Sabine,' faces as she transitions from her New York City community. "Namaste, Bitches," which filmed in Los Angeles earlier this year, explores the sometimes ego-driven, image-conscious nature of the health and wellness industry to comedic effect.

Featuring a score with original hip hop tracks by KRS-One collaborator and resident Las Vegas DJ, Briskoner and legendary drum and bass producer DJ Dara, "Namaste, Bitches" has been nominated by the 2015 Miami Web Festival in the categories of Best Comedy and Best Comedic Actress, and Summer will be hosting the 10th Annual ITV Fest in Dover, Vermont from September 25th - 27th.

"Namaste, Bitches" features performances by fresh, diverse talent including Edi Gathegi (Twilight franchise, "Proof," "The Blacklist"), Parvesh Cheena ("Transformers: Rescue Bots," "Outsourced"), and Oscar®-winner Luke Matheny (Oscar® for best live action short film - God of Love), Sujata Day ("Awkward Black Girl"), Aly Mawji (Silicon Valley"), as well as Alex Dawson (Let's Get Awesome, In the Flesh), Adele Rene (Let the Game Begin, The Thing in the Corner), Keirin Brown (1000 Points of Light, L.A., I Hate You, Little Piggies), Oren Skoog (Transylmania, Bobby), Caitlin Talbot (Thula), Henry McMillan ("You'll Be Fine," InAPPropriate Comedy), and Tania Verafield (Harsh Times, Short Term 12).

"Namaste, Bitches" Trailer:

About Namaste, Bitches
Sabine, an up-and-coming yoga teacher from New York City has recently moved to Los Angeles to hit it big in the Hollywood down dog scene. Hoping for a warm welcome from the local community, she is instead greeted with a trial teaching position at a small studio and a frosty reception from image-obsessed LA instructors.

When corporate studio Yoga World opens up nearby, Sabine is pressured to maintain her fledgling student base at any cost. Sabine's moral compass is tested by rival teachers, greedy studio owners, judgmental students, and her own self-destructive tendencies. When she finally "speaks her truth" to her students, will she be destroyed or catapulted to greatness?
