'Toy Story 3' Cast Announced

Director Lee Unkrich has revealed via video blog that Kristen Schaal of Flight of the Conchords has joined the cast of "Toy Story 3" for Disney Pictures and Pixar.

Schaal will voice a new character but no other details have been released. She will be joining 'Toy Story' regulars Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Joan Cusack, Don Rickles, Wallace Shawn, John Ratzenberger, Estelle Harris, John Morris, Laurie Metcalf, R. Lee Ermey, Jodi Benson, Ned Beatty, Michael Keaton, Timothy Dalton, Jeff Garlin, Bonnie Hunt and Whoopi Goldberg.

Blake Clark will be taking over for Slinky, replacing the late Jim Varney.

Disney's 3D reissue of "Toy Story" and "Toy Story 2" special double feature is extending its run beyond the originally scheduled two weeks due to impressive box office performance.  It is speculated that the feature will run through November 2, just before the release of the 3D 'A Christmas Carol.'
