Tony Shaloub Joins Voice Cast of Paramount's TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES

Deadline reports that Paramount Pictures has added the voice talents of Tony Shaloub ("Monk," Pain and Gain) and Johnny Knoxville (Jackass Presents Bad Grandpa, The Last Stand) to the cast of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Knoxville will voice Leonardo while Shaloub will give voice to Master Splinter.

Megan Fox, Alan Ritchson, Jeremy Howard, Noel Fisher, Will Arnett and William Fichtner also star. In the film darkness has settled over New York City as Shredder and his evil Foot Clan have an iron grip on everything from the police to the politicians. The future is grim until four unlikely outcast brothers rise from the sewers and discover their destiny as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The Turtles must work with fearless reporter April O'Neil (Fox) and her wise-cracking cameraman Vern Fenwick (Arnett) to save the city and unravel Shredder's diabolical plan.

Directed by Jonathan Liebesman, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles opens in theaters on August 8.

Santino Fontana and Tony Shalhoub will both be featured as the legendary writer/director Moss Hart at different stages of his life in its upcoming production of ACT ONE, a play written and directed by James Lapine from the autobiography by Moss Hart.

Tony Shalhoub returns to Lincoln Center Theater after appearing last year in LCT's critically acclaimed production ofClifford Odets' Golden Boy, for which he was nominated for the Tony Award. His Broadway credits include Lend Me A Tenor, Conversations With My Father (Tony nomination),The Heidi Chronicles and the female version of The Odd Couple. He has been seen off-Broadway in The Scene, Waiting for Godot, Rameau's Nephew and Zero Positive. Film and television credits include Pain & Gain, Big Night, Barton Fink, The Siege, A Civil Action, Men in Black (I and II), Wings, Monk and HBO's Too Big To Fail and Hemingway and Gelhorn.
