Deadline.com reports that ABC is in final development talks for a comedy project which will star and be executive produced by Tony Danza. Actor Vince Vaughn will also executive produce.

The project is scheduled for the network's next development cycle and is based on an idea which originated from Danza and his manager Dan Farah. It will center on three old friends whose lives took different paths as they matured.  Now they are reunited and attempt to start over by moving into a bachelor pad together near their children and grandchildren.

Said Danza,“It’s intended to be a funny and honest comedy about getting older, generational differences, and the message that it’s never too late to start a new chapter in life."

A writer has not yet been selected to take on the script. Vaughn will executive produce with his producing partner at Wild West Picture Show Productions. Danza began his TV career at ABC, where he starred in the hit comedies Who’s The Boss? and Taxi. He has also had a recurring role on  The Practice.
