Variety reports that Tony Danza has joined the cast of Joseph Gordon-Levitt's still-untitled directorial debut. The actors have previously worked together in 1994 when both appeared in the film 'Angels in the Outfield'. Danza will join previously announced cast members Julianne Moore and Scarlett Johansson

Gordon-Levitt penned the script which tells the story of a present-day 'porn-addicted' Don Juan and his search to become a better individual. Danza will take on the role of Gordon-Levitt's character's father. Johansson  is set to play the lead character's girlfriend.

Ram Bergman and Nicolas Chartier will produce the film which is expected to begin shooting in Los Angeles in the next few months.

Danza is best known for his TV roles in the popular sitcoms "Who's the Boss?" and "Taxi." He recently appeared on the big screen in Paul Haggis' "Crash."
