Tom Cruise Discusses Travolta Loss, Broadway on THE VIEW 1/9

Film superstar and Golden Globe award nominee Tom Cruise made a return visit to ABC's popular talk show "The View" today to promote his new film "Valkyrie." Mr. Cruise spoke publicly for the first time about the death and swirling rumors connected to 16-year-old Jett Travolta, the son of his friend and colleague John Travolta.

Mr. Cruise also discusses his motion picture career and his starring role in the new film "Valkyrie," his plans for Sunday's Golden Globe awards, his wife Katie Holmes' closing night on Broadway, his family and children and how they celebrated Christmas and New Year's Eve and.....doing a Broadway movie musical?

"The View" is hosted by Barbara Walters, Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Sherri Shepherd. The Tom Cruise interview, taped today, Thursday, Jan. 8 at ABC Studios in New York City and will air in its entirety tomorrow, Friday, Jan. 9 @ 11:00 AM, ET on ABC.
