After high ratings at this year's awards show, Deadline reports that NBC and Dick Clark Productions has asked comedy stars Tina Fey and Amy Poehler to return as the hosts of next year's Golden Globes. The invitation to reprise the hosting gig is, at this point, an informal offer.

Official conversations are expected to begin next month, with NBC picking a host or hosts by November before the 2014 nominations announcement in December.
The duo drew close to 20 million viewers when they hosted this year.Fey recently sold two comedy projects and has more under her belt. Fey's upcoming film projects include Anchorman: The Legend Continues, Muppets Most Wanted, and This Is Where I Leave You, She starred, wrote and produced for 30 Rock and appeared as a regular on Saturday Night Live -- along with Poehler -- for more than a decade. Other film credits include Megamind, Date Night, The Invention of Lying, and Baby Mama and Mean Girls -- also with Poehler. Poehler's next film projects include You Are Here, They Came Together, Free Birds, Anchorman: The Legend Continues and Inside Out. She continues to star as 'Leslie Knope' in NBC's Parks and Recreation.
