Timothy Simons is set to star in and develop the assisted suicide comedy Exit Plans, according to Deadline. The show hails from Simons and Will Graham (Mozart in the Jungle) via his Field Trip Productions.
Exit Plans centers around assisted suicide. When assisted suicide is legalized in 2019, a man from California opens a small business helping people transition into death peacefully while struggling to keep ahold of his crumbling personal life. In short, he's trying to figure out his life while ending yours.
Simons currently plays Jonah Ryan on HBO's Veep. His film credits include Gold, Inherent Vice, Christine,The Interview, The Boss, Digging For Fire, and Goosebumps.
Graham is under a first-look deal with Amazon Studios via his Field Trip Productions. He most recently served as executive producer on the final two seasons of Amazon's Mozart in the Jungle, which he also wrote and directed on.
