The Philip K. Dick Science Fiction Film Festival has partnered with The Cervantes Institute in celebration of Spanish Supernatural Cinema. The event will begin on January 16, 2013 and run for eight weeks with screenings of films including Jesús Franco's The Awful Dr. Orloff (1962) which kicks off the event in what will be a series of fantastic and entertaining gatherings.
The Philip K. Dick Science Fiction Film Festival has partnered with the Cervantes Institute to host the much anticipated commemoration of classic Spanish Supernatural Cinema beginning on January 16, 2013 and continuing for an suspenseful eight weeks.
The event kicks off with the screening of Jesús Franco's horror ?lm The Awful Dr. Orloff (1962) which will surely ravage the mind and dispel the heinous secrets of the paranormal and the undead. Nothing is as frightening yet absolutely brilliant than the featured works from ?lmmakers who have brought forth a classic cornerstone of cinema and have unleashed some of the most heartwrenching moments in movie history.
Some of the films that will be featured at the festival are: REC, The Orphanage, Los Sin Nombre and Tesis.
