The Cartel, a full service management and production company, has appointed former President of Brownstone Entertainment and Fascination Street Drew Brown as Head of Television to oversee the Company's ever growing development slate. Brown will be based in the Company's Los Angeles office beginning immediately. The announcement was made by Stan Spry, Co-CEO, the Cartel.

"Since first working with Drew we knew that we were like-minded," said Spry. "He's hard working, driven, and has tremendous instincts. He created two very successful companies on his own, and we are thrilled that he is bringing his skills, projects, and relationships to the Cartel. We look forward to working with him to continue to build our company, expand our portfolio, and create unique opportunities for our clients."

"I'm thrilled to join the Cartel team to further expand the company's slate," commented Brown. "With an exciting roster of clients and great IP, we're targeting edgy, character-driven drama and fresh, unique voices in comedy."

Drew Brown is a multi-Emmy® award nominated producer who got his start in the unscripted business. Starting as a Producer on the hit reality series "Project Runway," he built the robust production company Brownstone Entertainment producing dozens of series across cable and broadcast including "Barter Kings" (A&E), "Funny Girls" (Oxygen), "Eat Drink Love" (Bravo), and "Living in Secret" (Lifetime Movie Network).

In 2016, Brown entered the scripted market under an overall first-look deal with Sony Pictures TV via his newly launched shingle, Fascination Street. In addition, he teamed up with Jennifer Lopez's Nuyorian Productions and separately with America Ferrera and Teri Weinberg's production company to develop two scripted projects that were recently sold to NBC Universal. He also developed and sold scripted drama and comedy projects to broadcast, cable and streaming platforms with other notable partners such as Mila Kunis' Orchard Farms, Viola Davis and Julius Tennon's JuVee Productions, Aaron Paul's Lucid Road and Drew Barrymore's Flower Films.
