The CW's ARROW Matches Series High in Key Demo

With Dr. Barry Allen making his first appearance in Starling City, The CW's Arrow last night climbed to its most watched (3.17 million) episode since February (2/27/13), and matched its series highs in both adults 18-34 (1.1/4) and men 18-34 (1.4/5), according to preliminary Live+Same Day Nielsen ratings for Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2013.

ARROW also tied for its second best performance of the season in adults 18-49 (1.1/3) and tied its second best delivery ever in men 18-49 (1.4/5).

Versus its last original episode two weeks ago, Arrow grew +19% in total viewers, +22% in adults 18-34, +10% in adults 18-49, +56% in men 18-34, and +27% in men 18-49.

ARROW ranked #1 in the 8:00-9:00p.m. hour in men 18-34.

ARROW is up versus this same week last year by +10% in adults 18-34, +27% in men 18-34 and +17% in men 18-49.

THE TOMORROW PEOPLE also rose compared to its last original episode, +6% in total viewers (1.8 million), while drawing its second best rating of the season in adults 18-34 (0.6/2), up +20% from two weeks ago. THE TOMORROW PEOPLE also improved +17% in adults 18-49 (0.7/2).

For the night, The CW was gained +14% in total viewers (2.48 million) versus two weeks ago, the most recent Wednesday with regularly scheduled programming. The network was up +14% in adults 18-34 (0.8/3), and +13% in adults 18-49 (0.9/3). It was The CW's best Wednesday night among men 18-34 (1.1/4) and men 18-49 (1.1/3) since February 2013.

This season, Arrow sees a +45% increase in Live + 7 Day viewing versus Live + Same Day viewing among total viewers, averaging 4.1 million viewers per episode in L+7. Arrow also sees a +47% gain in adults 18-34, and a +54% increase in adults 18-49 in L+7 versus L+SD. THE TOMORROW PEOPLE sees a +41% increase in total viewers, a +55% increase in adults 18-34, and a +54% jump in adults 18-49 compared to same day viewing.
