The 2010 AMERICAN COUNTRY AWARDS will air live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena Monday, Dec. 6 (8:00-10:00 p.m. EST live/PST tape-delayed) on FOX. The two-hour special will be the first and only country music awards show where fans determine every winner by voting for their favorite nominees in music and video categories.

Tickets priced at $85, $65 and $45, not including applicable service charges and taxes, go on sale Friday, Nov. 5 at 10 a.m. and will be available at all Las Vegas Ticketmaster locations (select Smith's Food and Drug Centers and Ritmo Latino). Ticket sales are limited to eight (8) per person. To charge by phone with a major credit card, call Ticketmaster at (800) 745-3000. Tickets also are available for purchase at www.mgmgrand.com or www.ticketmaster.com.

Superstars Lady Antebellum and Easton Corbin lead the inaugural AMERICAN COUNTRY AWARDS nominees with seven nominations each; Carrie Underwood earned six nods and Miranda Lambert and Josh Turner each earned five.

Fans have the opportunity to vote once each day for their favorite AMERICAN COUNTRY AWARDS nominees at www.theacas.com. Voting will remain open until November 8, 2010 for all categories with the exception of Artist of the Year, which closes December 4. The nominees for each award category have been determined by respected media measurement companies Big Champagne, Great American Country, Mediabase and Pollstar.

"Unlike any other country music award show, the AMERICAN COUNTRY AWARDS will give fans the power to choose all of the winners, which means the awards will reflect what America is listening to and watching right now," said executive producer Bob Bain. "The ACAs will recognize traditional categories like Artist of the Year and Album of the Year but also will introduce new honors for tours and videos, resulting in one amazing night for country music."

The AMERICAN COUNTRY AWARDS will feature performances and appearances by the year's chart-topping country artists. Performers and presenters will be announced in the near future.
