Earliery today, BWW reported via Deadline that Benjamin Walker will star in the upcoming film adaptation of Nicholas Sparks' THE CHOICE, penned by Bryan Sipe. Now, according to The Hollywood Reporter, Teresa Palmer is in talks for the female lead.

Walker will take on the role of "Travis Parker, who meets neighbor Gabby Holland in a small coastal town. The story spans a decade of their love affair, which is ultimately tested by life's most defining events." Palmer would play Holland.
Palmer's recent and upcoming projects include The Ever After, Cut Bank, Knight of Cups, Triple Nine, Point Break and 2:22. Among her past film credits are The Sorcerer's Apprentice, I Am Number Four, Take Me Home Tonight, Warm Bodies and Love and Honor.
Walker recently displayed his singing chops in the Hollywood Bowl's production of Hair, and his most recent Broadway appearance was in the revival of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, starring Scarlett Johansson. In 2007, he performed in the Broadway revival of Inherit The Wind, and the following year appeared in Roundabout's production of Les Liaisons Dangereuses, which was nominated for six Tony awards. He also played the title role in Alex Timbers' Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson. Benjamin most recently starred on the big screen in Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter and will next be seen in HBO's Muhammad Ali's Greatest Fight.
