Telemundo's UN NUEVO DIA Pays Tribute to Anniversary of Jenni Rivera's Death Today

In honor of the fourth anniversary of the death of Mexican-American music star Jenni Rivera, TELEMUNDO's morning show UN NUEVO DIA pays tribute to her this Friday, December 9th at 7-10am/6am-9c. Throughout the three hours of the live show, hosts Rashel Diaz, Adamari Lopez, Ana Maria Canseco, Daniel Sarcos and Diego Schoening, will present never seen before coverage and exclusive interviews with her daughter Chiquis, from the hit NBC UNIVERSO celeb-reality series "The Riveras," her siblings Lupillo and Rosie, in addition to an emotional visit with her father Don Pedro Rivera, to the mountains located at Iturbide in Nuevo Leon, Mexico, where the tragedy took place on December 9th, 2012.

The story of Jenni Rivera, from her childhood to her unexpected and tragic death, will come to Telemundo in 2017 with the original production, "Jenni Rivera, Mariposa de Barrio," the only series authorized by the Rivera family about the life of the beloved music star.

"Un Nuevo Día" is TELEMUNDO's daily morning show, airing weekdays at 7am/6c. Winner of two National Emmy Awards for 'Outstanding Morning Show in Spanish language,' the three-hour live program is hosted by Rashel Diaz, Adamari Lopez, Ana Maria Canseco, Daniel Sarcos and Diego Schoening. Viewers are treated to a combination of information, entertainment, humor, health issues, beauty and fashion, as well as recipes from Chef James and social media trends with Erika Csiszer.
