Telemundo's "La Voz Kids" ranked #1 among all Spanish-language broadcast programs on Sunday night delivering 2,323,000 total viewers and 1,188,000 adults 18-49, according to Nielsen. Produced for the first time out of Universal Studios Florida, "La Voz Kids" outperformed its direct competition, Univision's "Nuestra Belleza Latina," by 9% among total viewers and adults 18-49, and by 30% among adults 18-34. Fueled by the show's delivery, Telemundo ranked as the #3 broadcast network, regardless of language, during Sunday prime among adults 18-34. In addition, "La Voz Kids" ranked #1, regardless of language, in Miami among total viewers and adults 18 to 49 and #1 amongst Spanish-language networks in New York, Phoenix and Denver with adults 18 to 49.
Hosted by Daisy Fuentes and Jorge Bernal with music star Coaches Prince Royce, Roberto Tapia and Natalia Jimenez, "La Voz Kids" features young vocalists between the ages of seven and 15 competing for a recording contract and a cash prize to support their education. The competition heads into "Battles" next Sunday, April 27thas Coaches Prince Royce, Roberto Tapia and Natalia Jimenez will now dedicate themselves to developing their teams with the help of guest mentors Yandel, Diana Reyes and Kany Garcia, respectively. These Latin music stars will share secrets of their success, give advice to contestants and nurture their burgeoning talent.
