Telemundo's Double Premiere of AL OTRO LADO DEL MURO & ENEMIGO INTIMO Outperforms Univision During 9PM-11PM

Fueled by last night's one-of-a-kind double premiere of "Al Otro Lado del Muro" and new Super Series™ "Enemigo Intimo," Telemundo outperformed Univision by 15% (797,000 vs. 694,000), during 9pm-11pm, among adults 18-49, according to Nielsen. "Enemigo Intimo" averaged 1,721,000 total viewers, 905,000 adults 18-49 and 401,000 adults 18-34, outperforming Univision at 10pm by +18%, +43% and +46%, respectively. At 9pm/8c, "Al Otro Lado Del Muro" delivered 1,424,000 total viewers, 688,000 adults 18-49 and 264,000 adults 18-34. Additionally, "Al Otro Lado Del Muro" and "Enemigo Intimo" ranked as the #1 and #2 most social Spanish-language programs on premiere day, respectively.

Locally, "Enemigo Intimo" helped Telemundo rank #1 in Spanish-language, in its time slot, among total viewers and adults 18-49 in Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Houston, San Francisco, Orlando, Philadelphia, Denver and Washington, DC. The new Super Series™ also ranked #1, regardless of language among total viewers and adults 18-49 in Miami. Meanwhile, "Al Otro Lado Del Muro" ranked as the #1 Spanish-language program in its time period, among total viewers and adults 18-49 in Los Angeles, New York, Miami, San Francisco, Orlando and Philadelphia.

"Al Otro Lado Del Muro" (9pm/8c) tells the story of two women who cross the border from Mexico to the United States: one in pursuit of a dream, and the other fleeing a nightmare. In this contemporary series, which reflects the realities lived by many immigrants, the protagonists must do the impossible to survive and make a life for their children while leaving everything they knew behind. Starring Marjorie de Sousa and Litzy, "Al Otro Lado del Muro" is an original story by Laura Sosa directed by Luis Manzo and Nicolas Di Blassi, with Carmen Cecilia Urbaneja as executive producer.

"Enemigo Intimo" (10pm/9c), marks the highly anticipated return of Emmy Award-winning El Señor de los Cielos alums, Fernanda Castillo and Raul Mendez to Telemundo's Super Series™ franchise. From the director of Telemundo's longest-running series, El Señor de los Cielos, and its spinoff, El Chema, Danny Gavidia, the series features a fresh and new storyline, ripped from the headlines, based on an international corruption story. Shot on location filming in Zurich, Switzerland, Mexico and USA border towns including El Paso and McAllen, Texas, the international production tells the tale of a strong female lead character; multi-faceted, beautiful young woman, Stanford University educated, who has managed to develop a range of characteristics: skillful, intelligence that can border on brilliance, impetuous at times, and in others, achieving a single cause that allows her to overcome problems and conflicts. "Enemigo Intimo" is an original Telemundo Studios production written by Francisco Cordero and Humberto Barrero, with Mariana Iskandarani and Monica Vizzi as executive producers.
